Oshkosh Corp. (OSK) announced after the close Tuesday that it received an initial delivery order from the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command Life Cycle Management Command for 2,244 MRAP All Terrain Vehicles, valued at $1.05 billion.
Oshkosh Corp. gapped open sharply higher Wednesday, but was range-bound throughout the session. The stock closed up by $3.89 at $18.43 on the highest volume of the year. Oshkosh rose above a 3-week range and set an 11-month high.
