A Washington-based think tank focusing on national security and foreign policy testified before a Congressional Committee about how illicit financing is available to terrorists.
Yaya Fanusie, director of analysis for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Terrorism and Illicit Finance that terrorists prefer traditional hard cash over cryptocurrencies.
