The Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs has scheduled a hearing on regulatory frameworks for cryptocurrencies and blockchain for July 30.
The committee said it would be an open session, titled "Examining Regulatory Frameworks for Digital Currencies and Blockchain". It did not explain the purpose of the hearing.
