US Reports More Miles Driven And Lower Road Accident Fatality Rates

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has released its latest projections for traffic fatalities in 2022, which shows more miles driven and lower fatality rates compared to 2021.

42,795 people died in motor vehicle traffic crashes in 2022. This represents a small decrease of about 0.3 percent compared to 42,939 fatalities reported in the previous year.
