Monday, Charter Communications (CCMM.OB) appointed Gregory Rigdon as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy. In this role, Rigdon's responsibilities include helping build the strategy to support the company's commitment to operational and service excellence and long-term growth. He will also continue to lead Charter's negotiations with programmers, vendors and strategic partners.
Rigdon has served as Senior Vice President of Business Development since joining Charter in 2006. Prior to joining Charter, Rigdon served as Vice President of Programming, Strategy and Business Development for America Online, Inc.
Charter Communications Inc. provides cable services to residential and commercial customers in the United States. The company offers a range of entertainment, information, and communications solutions, as well as traditional video cable programming; high-speed Internet access; advanced broadband cable services, such as high definition television, OnDemand video programming, and digital video recorder service; and telephone service.
