Kate Middleton's wedding dress from her April 29 nuptials to Prince William of England will be on display at Buckingham Palace on Saturday, July 23.

The dress, made of white and ivory satin gazar and designed by British designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, will be displayed alongside the Cartier Halo tiara that was loaned to the Duchess of Cambridge by the Queen, the size 7.5 lace-covered shoes, and the diamond earrings bearing the new Middleton family crest. The eight-tier wedding cake (including five of the original tiers of cake) will also be on display at the Museum.

Said exhibition curator Caroline de Guitaut: "Visitors will see what a great example of British couture it is, and how much detail and how much work went into the creation of this dress. The beauty really is in the detail."
