Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc. (BSET: Quote) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $0.6 million or $0.06 per share, compared to $1.9 million or $0.17 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Net sales for the fourth quarter fell 4% to $63.27 million from $65.99 million a year earlier.
The company also said that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share, payable on March 1 to shareholders of record on February 15.. This represents an increase of $0.015 over the regular dividend paid on December 1, 2011.
