Aveva Group plc (AVV.L) said Friday it is "confident" about a "successful outturn" in the current fiscal year, with the period since October 1, 2011 seeing continued demand for Engineering and Design Systems and several large rental contracts being renewed. The company's current fiscal year ends March 31, 2012.
Looking ahead to fiscal 2012/2013, the company noted an addition to its backlog from Enterprise Solutions contracts from "strategically important" new customers. Further, increased momentum in China operations, after restructuring, "confirmed" Aveva Group's "positive view" on prospects.
