Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE) has announced a contest in which it will search for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist. In the process judges for the organization will visit several fairs, festivals and other venues hosting tribute contests.
Judges will look for the "best representation of the Elvis legacy" in vocals, style, stage wear and stage presence. The winner will be named the "2012 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist."
In a statement, an EPE official said the contest is a treat for fans and a way to honor the late King of Rock and Roll:
"These contests give Elvis fans worldwide an opportunity to experience his music in a fun and unique way that we've seen continue to grow in popularity."
