Dionne Warwick has been named by the Music Center at Strathmore as one of its acts for 2012. The "Walk on By" songstress will hit the stage for the Strathmore 2012 Spring Gala on Saturday, April 21.
Strathmore is located in North Bethesda, Maryland; according to its official site, its mission is to "provide affordable, accessible, multi-disciplinary arts programming in the Mansion at Strathmore, the Music Center at Strathmore, and on its scenic 11-acre site."
Highlights of the season include Wanda Sykes (February 10), Lily Tomlin (February 26), Michael and Aaron Posner (March 15), Patti LaBelle (March 30 & 31), Kevin Costner with his band, Modern West (April 5), William Bolcom and Joan Morris (April 19) and Tommy Tune in Steps in Time (June 2).
