British home insurance firm HomeServe Plc (HSV.L) Tuesday said it has appointed Martin Bennett, currently Group Chief Financial Officer, to the new position of Group Chief Operating Officer.
Martin will have responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of HomeServe's operating model, IT systems, best practice and risk management across all HomeServe's geographies working closely with the country Chief Executive Officers. Martin will continue to be a member of the plc Executive Committee and plc Board.
Martin's initial priority will be supporting UK Chief Executive Officer Jonathan King and the UK business on claims and network management, underwriting, systems and efficiency.
Meanwhile, David Bower, HomeServe's Group Finance Director will become interim Chief Financial Officer whilst the company recruits a replacement.
