Dollar Ticks Up Amid U.S. Construction Spending, ISM Manufacturing Data

The results of the manufacturing survey of the Institute for Supply Management for January and Commerce Department's construction spending report for December have been released at 10:00 am ET.

The US dollar drifted higher against its major rivals following the data. As of 10:02 am ET, the greenback was trading at 1.3157 against the euro, 1.5835 versus the pound, 0.9156 against the Swiss franc and 76.18 against the yen.
