Gainers:

Merck & Co., Inc. (MRK) is up 0.21 percent to $38.71. The company swung to a profit in its fourth quarter. Non-GAAP earnings per share were above analysts' estimate. Meanwhile, sales were below consensus.

QUALCOMM Inc. (QCOM) is up nearly 5 percent to $62.36. The company's first quarter profit and revenues increased from the year-ago quarter. Both adjusted earnings per share and revenues were above analysts' estimate. The company guided second quarter results above consensus. The company also raised its full year 2011 financial guidance.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (GMCR) is surging 22 percent to $65.49. The company's first quarter profit and revenues surged from the previous year period. Net Sales of K-Cup Packs surged 115 percent. The company expects second quarter adjusted earnings per share below consensus.

Target Corp. (TGT) is rising 2 percent to $52.45. The company's January comparable-store sales increased 4.3 percent. Net retail sales improved 5.1 percent.

Gap Inc. (GPS) is up 6 percent to $20.65. The company's comparable sales for January were down 4 percent. Net sales for the month also declined from the year-ago period. The company guided fourth quarter earnings per share above Wall Street view.

BioScrip, Inc. (BIOS) is suring 23 percent to $7.20. The company agreed to sell certain assets of its community specialty pharmacies and centralized specialty and mail service pharmacy businesses to Walgreens Co. (WAG), for a total deal value of approximately $225 million. BioScrip expects this transaction to be accretive to its earnings in 2012.

Decliners:

Boston Scientific Corp. (BSX) is falling over 4 percent to $5.81 as the company's fourth quarter profit declined from the year-ago quarter. Net sales declined from the prior year period, and were also below consensus.

Ann Inc. (ANN) is falling 11 percent to $21.85 based on the news that it expects to report fourth-quarter results below expectations, citing weaker-than-anticipated performance in the Ann Taylor stores channel. Total Company comparable sales for the quarter increased 5 percent.

Dow Chemical Co. (DOW) is falling nearly 3 percent to $33. The company slipped to a loss in its fourth quarter. Adjusted earnings per share and revenue were below Wall Street view.

CIGNA Corp. (CI) is down more than 3 percent to $44.01. The company's fourth quarter declined from the year-ago quarter. Adjusted earnings per share from continuing operations and revenues were below analysts' expectations. The company also guided earnings for 2012 below Street view.
