The Canadian dollar advanced further against major currencies during New York mid-day trading on Friday. As of now, the loonie is trading near a new multi-month high of 0.9935 against the greenback, more than a 2-week high of 1.3032 versus the euro and a new 1-week high of 77.11 against the Japanese yen.
