The U.S. dollar edged up against the pound and the Canadian dollar in European deals on Tuesday. The greenback rose to 1.5793 against the pound and a 4-day high of 0.9997 against the loonie with 1.57 and 1.005, respectively seen as the next upside target levels. The greenback ended Monday's deals at 1.5824 against the pound and 0.9962 against the loonie.
