Gerard Way, frontman for My Chemical Romance, has spoken out on his devotion for the musical life, saying that he is artistically rejuvenated and ready to go.
Speaking with Music News the singer said that, after a decade of performing, he plans to keep at it:
"Going on ten years now we love being in the band. It's something you can never leave or escape or get away from, and that's a great thing."
He added that the band's former malaise has been cured:
"I think [it's down to] just not being burnt out. Really enjoying and connecting with making music again, just being inspired, whereas after The Black Parade we weren't inspired to do much at all besides disappear."
Additionally, guitarist Frank Iero hinted that Romance fans might hear new stuff in 2012.
