NetEase.com Inc. (NTES), a China-based Internet and online game services providers, Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net profit to common shares of RMB 898.6 million ($142.8 million), compared to RMB 712.5 million last year.
NetEase reported fourth-quarter earnings per American depositary share of $1.09, compared to $0.87 last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $1.02 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues for the quarter were RMB 2.1 billion ($341.4 million), compared to RMB 1.7 billion last year.
