The funeral for Whitney Houston, who died at age 48 of as-yet-undetermined causes, was held Saturday. The service, which took place at Houston's childhood house of worship, New Hope Baptist Church, was broadcast online and on television.

Grammy-winning gospel singer and longtime family friend Marvin Winans provided the eulogy. Dionne Warwick, Houston's cousin, introduced several speakers at the funeral.

Some of the guests who spoke or performed at the event were Tyler Perry, Kevin Costner, Clive Davis, Bebe & CeCe Winans, Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, R. Kelly, among others.

Aretha Franklin, Houston's godmother, was scheduled to attend the service, but at the last minute had to cancel due to sickness.

Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown arrived at the service with daughter Bobbi Kristina, but left shortly after with his son Landon. The reason for his departure is not clear just yet, but some speculate that it was due to a seating arrangement dispute.

Afterwards, Houston was buried in the Fair View Cemetery in Westfield, N.J., which is where her father, John Russell Houston Jr. was buried in 2003.
