(RTTNews) - Papa Roach are currently in the studio recording their full length follow up to the 2010 EP Time for Annihilation . . . on the Record and on the Road.
During a recent interview with audioinkradio.com, band member Jacoby Shaddix said the group tried most of their new material on the road before entering the studio.
"We've been out on the road and playing the brand new songs in the set, and the fans go off. They snap audiences off like no other, so we're really stoked about the direction and sound of the band, as well!"
Shaddix adds that the new album is being recorded with a mind to take the songs back out on the road and uphold their reputation as a top live act:
"We've got a rep in the business as one of those bands that rips it, and we've got to uphold that. Staking our claim to rock 'n' roll and making a tour that makes people want to come back and see us again and again. We do not want to let the fans down at all. And we will not."
