The New Zealand dollar spiked up against the Australian dollar during Asian trading on Monday. The kiwi approached a 5-day high of 1.2814 against the aussie at 11:00 pm ET with 1.27 seen as the next upside target level. At last week's close, the pair was worth 1.2865.
