Whitney Houston's family has struck a deal to sell video footage of the star's funeral. Houston was buried in Newark, New Jersey over the weekend at a private ceremony for family and close friends.

The family has decided to sell her "home going" ceremony footage by special license to "several media outlets," according to a representative for the family.

The representative added the "customary fees" charged for the footage would "help maximize the estate for the benefit of [Houston's daughter] Bobbi Kristina."

Houston died in Los Angeles on February 11, ahead of the annual Grammy Awards. According to reports, the singer was found dead in the bath tub in her hotel room.

While an autopsy has been completed, the official cause of death has not been publically announced.
