Katy Perry will guest star on an upcoming episode of FOX's Raising Hope, and will don a mustache and wig as she assumes the role of a prison attendant.
The 27-year-old singer is guest starring on the sitcom playing Rikki, a prison attendant who claims to be an old friend of Sabrina's, played by Shannon Westwood.
"Shannon Westwood is my best friend," Perry told the Huffington Post. "A couple of weeks ago, I was home, just toasting up a frozen chicken fillet when she called me up and asked if I wanted to do something 'fun' for a change and try out a guest role on her TV show. I thought, sure, I have nothing else to do, and I like chillin' with my best friend."
"[Creator] Greg [Garcia] was nice, but I hope he's not secretly sabotaging my potential future career by type-casting me in the role of just a looker, so that I would never be able to play anything more challenging," she joked.
Catch Perry's Raising Hope episode titled "Single White Female" airing Tuesday, March 6, at 9:30 p.m. on FOX.
