Ashanti has released a preview of her upcoming video, "The Woman You Love," from her forthcoming album, Earthly Woman. It is currently circulating the web.
The sneak peak is produced to have the patina of a film preview, and features Ashanti and her man, portrayed by actor/model Marcus Patrick, going from good times to bad. The track features Busta Rhymes, and Ashanti sings about finding a way to make her relationship work.
Speaking with Us Weekly, Ashanti said the process of making an album can be difficult:
"It's excruciating to decide [which songs to include]. I've tried so many different sounds, some out of my comfort zone, but I feel good about it."
Earthly Woman, Ashy's fifth studio album, is due sometime in 2012 via her own label, Written Entertainment.
