Halle Berry pulled out of her scheduled appearance at the Oscars over the weekend due to the broken foot she sustained last fall. The Oscar-winner was filming in Majorca, Spain in September when she broke the foot chasing after her daughter.
After the incident Berry told People Magazine that she was spending a day off from shooting "Cloud Atlas" with her three-year-old daughter Nahla, who began chasing a goat. Halle was seen recently wearing a plastic boot style cast.
Berry, who took home an Academy Award for "Monster Ball" in 2002, was previously scheduled to present at the event and the news of cancellation was broken by Oscar producer Brian Glazer.
