After being cut off while giving an acceptance speech during the Brit awards, Adele has canceled a scheduled a performance on an ITV 1 music special.
ITV produces the award ceremony in which Adele was interrupted by host James Corden. Corden later apologized for trying to move the program along.
A source, speaking with The Daily Star, says the cancellation was deliberate on Adele's part:
"Adele was embarrassed by the way she was treated in front of millions of viewers by ITV. By turning down a music special with the network and also appearing on its main rival's music show she is giving them the ultimate one-fingered salute."
It has been rumored that Adele has turned down an offer to appear on ITV's The X Factor, opting instead to appear on its rival talent program, The Voice.
