Inflation in Indonesia eased unexpectedly in February, data from Statistics Indonesia showed Wednesday.
Inflation came in at 3.56 percent annually in February, down from 3.65 percent in January. Economists forecast the rate to accelerate to 3.8 percent. Month-on-month, the consumer price index gained 0.05 percent.
Core annual inflation in February was almost unchanged at 4.31 percent. On a monthly basis, the core measure rose 0.33 percent.
