Kroger Co. (KR) is slated to report results for the fourth quarter. The company is expected to record a profit of $0.49 per share on revenues of $21.43 billion. Last year, the grocery chain operator earned $0.46 per share on revenues of $19.93 billion. The company's shares closed Wednesday's trade at $23.79. (The stock up about 11% in Q4; MA(50)- $24.02; MA(100)- $23.48; 52-wk H/L $25.85/$21.14)

Fast food chain Wendy's Co. (WEN) is scheduled to post first-quarter results. The company is expected to earn $0.03 per share on revenues of $609.07 million for the quarter. In the previous year, earnings and revenue were $0.02 per share and $847.82 million respectively. WEN closed Wednesday's session at $5.07. (The stock rose almost 17% in Q1; MA(50)- $5.18; MA(100)- $5.11; 52-wk H/L $5.62/$4.29)

Footlocker Inc. (FL) will report its quarterly results today. The company is expected to report earnings of $0.51 per share on revenues of $1.49 billion for the fourth quarter. In the same quarter a year earlier, the company earned $0.39 per share on revenues of $1.39 billion. The stock closed Wednesday at $29.17. (The stock gained nearly 20% in Q4; MA(50)- $25.95; MA(100)- $24.26; 52-wk H/L $29.44/$16.66)

ArQule, Inc. (ARQL) and Esterline Technologies Corp. (ESL) are also due to report their results today.
