A batch of rare Bob Dylan photos, shot in the 1960's, are currently on display in Paris.
The exhibit, titled "Bob Dylan: the Rock Explosion 61-66," launched officially this past Monday and will remain at the city's Cite de la Musique until July 15. The pictures were taken by American photographer Daniel Kramer, who had accompanied Dylan on tour between 1964 and 1965.
The exhibit, created by Los Angeles' Grammy Museum, incorporates 60 black and white photos that "are a striking account of the folk singer's metamorphosis into a rock star," according to the exhibit's website.
In one picture Dylan stands alongside folk singer Joan Baez in Newark Airport in New Jersey, in front of a poster that reads "Protest Against the Rising Tide of Conformity."
