Fiona Apple has revealed the title to her upcoming, oft-delayed new album, a 23-word mouthful, The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do.
Fans should be used to Apple's long winded album titles by now, as the title of her sophomore album, the abbreviated When the Pawn . . ., is actually a full eight line poem.
There is no official release date as of yet for The Idler Wheel, though Apple's label Epic is planning for a June release.
The singer has committed to a number of tour dates in the near future, including a small theater tour later this month and is set for the Governor's Ball festival in New York City in June.
