Steve Harvey has reportedly signed on to host a new nationally syndicated day-time television talk show. The show will be called simply "Steve Harvey" and will be taped before a live studio audience at the NBC Tower in Chicago.
While speaking with the Chicago Sun Times, Harvey explains that producers considered basing the show in Connecticut, New York and Atlanta before deciding on the Windy City.
"But Chicago was my favorite pick. It's such a great city. The restaurants are great. The neighborhoods are great. The downtown is probably one of the best downtowns there is. If I've got to take my family somewhere, I'll take them there," he explained.
Harvey is no stranger to Chicago, however, as he lived in the city while working as a host on a local radio station in the 1990s.
