Obama To Talk Energy In Trip To Maryland

Amid a continued increase in gas prices, President Barack Obama will remain focused on energy policy during a drip to Maryland on Thursday.

The White House said Obama will travel to Largo, Maryland, where he will deliver remarks on American energy at Prince George's Community College.

A statement from the school said the president will highlight the important role community colleges play in partnering with businesses to provide innovative solutions to address the country's energy concerns.

Following the speech, Obama is scheduled to return to the White House to meet with Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner. Later in the evening, the president will meet with senior advisors.
