U.S. consumer price index for February is expected at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the dollar showed mixed trading against its major counterparts. While the dollar rose against the yen, it edged down against the pound, the euro and the franc.
At 8:25 am ET, the greenback traded at 83.92 against the yen, 1.5739 against the pound, 0.9227 against the franc and 1.3085 against the euro.
