Keith Sweat is being sued for $250,000 over a foreclosure battle, according to a new lawsuit filed by mortgage company Pmi Mortgage.

The R&B star already had his Detroit, Michigan house taken away after he defaulted on the mortgage. When the property was put up for sale it sold for about half its worth in order to pay the debt caused by Sweat. In 2004 Sweat bought the house for $450,000 and has now been sold for under $200,000.

Now Pmi Mortgage is demanding the singer pay the rest of what he owes after he failed to respond to legal action, which was the judge's ruling. Currently the company is searching for a lien on Sweat's home in Georgia to pay off the debt.
