A solo album entitled . . . Ya Know from the deceased Joey Ramone is expected on May 22. The album will have 15 tracks of b-sides and demos.
The LP was assembled from B-sides and demos by Joey's brother Mickey Leigh and producer Ed Stasium.
Among the guest stars appearing on the record are Joan Jett, Steven van Zandt (who also wrote the album's liner notes), Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick, and Patti Smith Group guitarist Lenny Kaye.
The first single to be taken from the album will be "Rock n Roll Is the Answer," which is to be made available on 7" vinyl on April 21 to mark this year's Record Store Day.
Joey Ramone died in 2001 of cancer.
