Paul McCartney To Release Ram Reissue This Spring

Paul McCartney has announced plans to reissue his 1971 album Ram this spring, a record that hits store shelves on May 22.

According to Beatlesradio.com, the Ram deluxe edition include a 128-page linen-bound book and newly remastered audio.

The second bonus CD will contain eight numbers, including period outtakes, non-album tracks and b-sides.

A third CD will see the first commercial issue of the mono mix of Ram.

The fourth CD will be Thrillington, an instrumental/orchestral version of Ram recorded in 1971 and produced by McCartney, but not released until 1977.

The fifth disc is a DVD, which includes home movie footage from the Ram sessions.

McCartney has also announced plans to offer a reproduction of his 1971 single "Another Day/Oh Woman, Oh Why" on 7" vinyl for this year's Record Store Day, April 21.
