Simon Cowell reportedly found an intruder hidden in the bathroom of his West London mansion over the weekend. According to Britain's The Sun, Cowell was relaxing in his home on Saturday evening when he discovered the would-be burglar.
"There was a loud bang and Simon rushed upstairs to find out what was going on. It came from the bathroom so he went in — and there was a woman standing there holding a brick. She had smashed her way in through the window and it was unclear how long she had been there or what she was doing," Cowell's rep Max Clifford explained to The Sun.
Simon quickly alerted his on-site security staff who detained the intruder, a 29-year-old woman named Leanne Zaloumis. Police quickly responded to the scene and arrested Zaloumis, who will appear in court on burglary charges.
"It was very frightening for Simon who told me it was like something from a horror movie," said Clifford.
