Danish jobless rate increased in February, after holding steady in the previous three months, data from Statistics Denmark showed Thursday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased to 6.2 percent from 6.1 percent in January, which was revised up from 6 percent. The latest figure is the highest since January last year, when it was 6.3 percent.
The number of unemployed persons increased to around 164,229 from 161,156 in the previous month.
The unemployment rate among youth aged between 16 and 24 years increased to 5.3 percent in February from 5.2 in January.
