In early Asian deals on Friday, the pound declined against the currencies of Europe and Switzerland. At present, the pound is worth 1.4423 against the franc and 0.8362 against the euro, compared to Thursday's close of 1.4467 and 0.8337, respectively. If the pound weakens further, it may likely target 0.840 against the euro and 1.440 against the franc.
