Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine recently revealed on a Canadian talk show that he falls in the camp of people who don't believe that President Barack Obama was born in the United States.
When speaking with George Stroumboulopoulos, host of "The Hour," Mustaine explained that he has "a lot of questions about him [President Obama], but certainly not where he was born. I know he was born somewhere else than America." Stroumboulopoulos then pressed Mustaine on whether or not he was a birther, with Mustaine refusing to give a straight answer. At the end of the exchange the host concluded, "Well, then you're a birther."
Mustaine had more positive things to say about Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum:
"He could be a really cool president, kinda like a JFK type of guy," he mused.
