Director Michael Bay has reportedly filed a cease-and-desist order against rapper/actor Tyrese Gibson. The Transformers director is apparently tired of hearing Tyrese drop his name in television interviews as if the two were close friends, and has taken legal action to prevent it from happening again.
According to blog Diary of a Hollywood Street King, Bay and his attorneys filed the papers this week.
Michael Bay's cousin Susan commented on the matter, stating: "Michael Bay has a cease and desist on Tyrese, and a restraining order on Tyrese. Michael didn't like when Tyrese was calling out his name on television, like they were boys. Everywhere Tyrese went, he was calling out Michael's name. Mike didn't like that."
It's not clear why Tyrese became fixated on Bay, nor has he responded to the cease-and-desist order.
