Three service members of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) died in separate insurgent attacks in Afghanistan on Tuesday.

Two of them died in IED (improvised explosive device) attacks in the southern and eastern parts of the country, while the third soldier was killed in an attack in eastern Afghanistan.

An ISAF statement did not disclose the nationality of the soldiers or the exact location of the incidents, deferring casualty identification to the relevant national authorities.

With the latest deaths, the number of foreign troop casualties in Afghanistan this year has crossed 100.
