The iconic Sgt.Pepper album cover from 1967 is getting revamped by the original artist, Sir Peter Blake. The collage artist is doing it to commemorate his own 80th birthday.
The new image will feature more contemporary figures like Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Danny Boyle, Elvis Costello, John Hurt, J.R.R. Tolkien, Dame Helen Mirren and Kate Moss. Sir Paul McCartney, also featured in the original, makes an appearance.
Blake said, "I chose people I admire, great people and some who are dear friends."
The image originally included Bob Dylan, Lenny Bruce, Tony Curtis and other iconic figures from the time.
