Finland New Vehicle Sales Rise In March

New vehicle registrations in Finland increased from the previous year in March, data from Statistics Finland showed Thursday.

The number of new motor vehicles registered in the country increased 60.1 percent annually to 31,876 in March. The number of newly registered automobiles were 25,943 in March.

Sales of new passenger cars increased 82.2 percent from last year to 22,924 during the month. Sale of new diesel-driven car constituted 39 percent of total car sales.

During the January to March period, new vehicle registrations increased 24.7 percent from the same period previous year to 67,821. New car registrations advanced 34 percent to 47,818 during the period.
