Ashton Kutcher's appearance at the ACM awards, during which he presented the Female Vocalist of the Year, has been criticized by several country artists. This list now includes husband and wife stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.
Kutcher appeared onstage dressed in country-western garb with an entourage of similarly dressed companions, one of whom was swilling from a mug of beer. Kutcher butchered a few bars of George Strait's "I Cross My Heart" for good measure.
"Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me?" tweeted Lambert, to whom Kutcher presented the female vocalist of the year award.
Shelton added that he was "too busy to give a c**p what Ashton Kutcher does."
Singer Justin Moore was more blunt, calling Kutcher a "douche."
"I Am One Of The biggest country Music fans you've ever met. Wasn't making fun at all," responded Kutcher.
