Brad Whitford of Aerosmith sat down to talk about Joe Bonamassa's latest album, Live from the Royal Albert Hall. Whitford himself is featured as a guest on the album.

Speaking from the studio in Las Vegas, Whitford said the LP has nostalgic elements:

"This is definitely more influenced by the stuff that the guys and musicians in this room love, early '60s English and American rock and blues. I guess we'll never get that out of our system . . ."

The album is a mix of Bonamassa originals along with a diverse group of covers including Tom Waits' "New Coat Of Paint," "Lonely Town Lonely Street" by Bill Withers, "A Place In My Heart" by Bernie Marsden of Whitesnake and "I Got All You Need" by Willie Dixon.

"Countdown to Daylight," a series of webisodes documenting the album's recording, is available for viewing through Bonamassa's official YouTube channel.
