Bubba Watson shot par in the second hole of sudden death to defeat Louis Oosthuizen on Sunday to win the 76th Masters Championship at Augusta National Golf Course in Georgia.
Watson and Oosthuizen both finished regulation play with 10-under-par to force the extra play. They were even after one hole before Oosthuizen bogeyed the second - opening the door for Watson to win his first major.
Oosthuizen hit an albatross on the par-5 second hole on Sunday to put him at 10-under, and he was even the rest of the way, until the playoff.
Finishing tied for third at 8-under-par were Lee Westwood, Matt Kuchar, Peter Hanson and Phil Mickelson.
