NZ Dollar Climbs Against Most Majors

The New Zealand dollar strengthened against most major counterparts in early New York deals on Monday.

The kiwi touched a new 6-month high of 1.2565 against the aussie and a fresh 3-week high of 1.5945 against the euro, compared to last week's closing value of 1.2588 and 1.5999, respectively.

Against the greenback, the kiwi edged up to 0.8202 from an early low of 0.8155. The pair closed last week's deals at 0.8194.
