House prices in the United Kingdom improved in March, according to survey results released Tuesday by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
The RICS Home Price Balance for March was minus-10, compared to minus-13 in February.
The March reading was the strongest since June 2010.
The survey measures the number of surveyors reporting price drops for the month versus those reporting increases for houses.
New buyer inquiries also increased to an index balance of plus-9 in March from February's plus-3.
Newly agreed sales rose to plus-10 in February from plus-8.
