Alicia Keys is on the cover of the April/May 2012 issue of Vibe magazine along with the header, "Alicia Keys' First Real Interview." The R&B phenom appears in profile with a considerable pompadour and leather jacket.
Keys and husband Swizz Beatz sat for the interview in which they described the things that initially brought them together.
Keys says that after lunch one day she mistakenly picked up Beatz' credit card:
"My credit card was in his pocket," Alicia said. "Why was my credit card in his pocket?"
"It was the craziest thing," Swizz remarked.
Keys, who is currently at work on her sixth studio album, also spoke on the travails of fame:
"Let's just say I've been very uncomfortable. I've been brave enough to be uncomfortable."
