The company is expected to post earnings of $1.18 per share, lower than the year-ago quarter's $1.28 per share. Also, the company is anticipated to generate revenues of $24.68 billion, a decline from $25.79 billion in the prior-year quarter. The company's shares closed Thursday's session at $44.84. Prior to opening of the market, Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) is slated to report results for the first quarter. The financial services firm is expected to earn $0.73 per share compared to $0.67 per share last year, on revenues of $20.46 billion. The stock closed Thursday at $34.02. Canadian media and communications company Shaw Communications, Inc. (SJR) is expected to post second-quarter results. The company is expected to report earnings of $0.37 per share, flat with last year, on revenues of $1.23 billion. The company's shares closed Thursday's regular trading at $20.89. (The stock up about 8% in Q2; MA(50)- $20.48; MA(100)- $20.14; 52-wk H/L $23.24/$18.82)
